Are winery tasting fees included?
No, winery tasting fees are separate and paid directly at each winery (typically $25-75 per person per winery). Many wineries waive the fee with wine purchase. Our quote includes transportation, champagne, coolers, and professional service only.
How many wineries can we visit?
Depends on tour duration: Half-day (4 hrs) = 2-3 wineries, Full-day (6 hrs) = 4-5 wineries, Extended (8 hrs) = 5-6+ wineries. Quality over quantity—you'll want time to taste, tour, and enjoy each winery!
Do we need reservations at wineries?
Highly recommended, especially for popular Napa/Sonoma wineries! Many require advance reservations. We can help coordinate reservations or recommend walk-in friendly wineries. Book 2-4 weeks ahead for busy seasons.
Can you help plan our wine tour itinerary?
Absolutely! Tell us your wine preferences (red, white, sparkling) and we'll recommend wineries. Our drivers know the best boutique wineries, hidden gems, and can create custom routes based on your taste and interests!
What about lunch?
Most full-day tours include a lunch stop. We can recommend amazing restaurants, vineyard bistros, or picnic spots. Some wineries offer food pairings. Tell us your preferences and we'll plan accordingly!
Can we bring our own wine/food?
Yes! You can bring snacks, cheese, crackers, etc. Some guests bring champagne for the ride between wineries. However, most wineries don't allow outside alcohol on their property. We provide coolers for all your purchases!
What if we buy wine at multiple wineries?
We provide large coolers with ice to keep your wine purchases at perfect temperature all day! Many guests buy 1-2 cases total. Some wineries also ship directly to your home (fees apply).
When's the best time for wine tours?
Spring (Mar-May) for beautiful blooms, Summer (Jun-Aug) for warm weather but crowded, Fall (Sep-Nov) for harvest season (our favorite!), Winter (Dec-Feb) for fewer crowds and cozy tastings. Weekdays are less crowded than weekends!
